BK Army Painting Studios specializes in painting whole armies to a quality tabletop standard, with a quick turnaround. You might wonder how I got started in this business - well, wonder no longer.
During the summer of 2008, I spent the summer working, a lot. Not much time for painting, but I could spare a moment here and there for collecting models that I would eventually paint. In the fall of 2008, I planned to attend the Grand Tournament Chicago. Two weeks before the event, my plan was to take an old army of mine. But I had all these new models, and I thought I'd see if I could actually paint up an entire army in less than two weeks. You can see the result below. 
I blogged the process of creating this army on DakkaDakka's forums, and at the Grand Tournament, got many compliments on my army. One game in particular, when I played against an army painted by another painting service, several onlookers commented that they preferred my paint job to the "pro-painted" army.
Well, if the rest of the community thought my work was in the same class as a professionally painted army...why not let customers decide? And BK Army Painting Studio was born. |
